How big is the screen? 8 feet by 6 feet.
Where do you set the screen up? The answer is different for each room. The general idea is to set the screen where the least amount of people have to move to see it. Usually in front of the DJ setup.
How long is the video? That depends on how many pictures and video clips you provide us. Our normal package is for 50 pictures, which usually lasts about 7 minutes.
What if we want something longer? We'll make as long a video as you want, but we recommend keeping the tape short and sweet. It's a magical thing for the first 8 or so minutes, after that the novelty begins to wear off. People can become bored if your tape is longer than 12 or so minutes.
When do you show it? We can show your tape at any time during the party, from introductions
until the end. We think during dessert is the best choice. By then, your guests have been sitting for an hour or so eating dinner. The big screen makes a pleasant and refreshing surprise, giving your party momentum into the first dance. Some companies make multiple tapes and play them during your first dance, father daughter dance, and bridal party dance. We feel this diverts attention from where it should be; on you. They can watch
TV at other times.
Can we choose the music? Of course! Choose from our song list or provide your own selections. Two main songs and a third in case we need more time.
When do you need the pictures? We like to have a month to prepare your video, but can sometimes do it faster.
Do we get out pictures back? Of course! We don't want
them!
Can we keep the tape? You paid for it, it's yours. Extra copies are available for $25 each.
Do we have to book your DJ or video service to get a big screen? No, all our services are available independently, although you do get a discount when booking more than one service with Ameritune.
